A great mix of game viewing, culture, exciting activities and relaxing. End up at the Indian Ocean on the tropical beaches of Zanzibar to swim and unwind.
Sample itinerary: Family Safari 14-days
Day 1 Arrival, Kilimanjaro
Arriva in the morning at Kilimanjaro and drive to West Kilimanjaro (1 hour) for a nice forest walk to the river. Hot lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon an estate tour and sun downer with cold drinks at the view point of Mount Kilimanjaro, Meru and Longido.
Day 2 Kilimanjaro
Leave after breakfast to Londorossi Gate via the Forest Reserve. This is the starting point of your trekking up to Shira Plateau where you have lunch. Return to the lodge and visit in the afternoon the Maasai living in this area or just relax at the poolside.
Day 3 Tarangire
Leave in the morning with packed lunch for an afternoon game drive in Tarangire National Park.
Day 4 Tarangire
Early morning game drive in another part of Tarangire. Return for hot lunch to the camp and have a rest and a swim in the afternoon. You can also join a Maasai Guide and do an interesting walk at the end of the afternoon in the concession area.
Day 5 Mto wa Mbu, Karatu
Drive to the village of Mto wa Mbu at the Great Rift Valley for a mountain bike tour, a local Swahili lunch and a stroll through the village. Drive to Karatu for a swim at your lodge.
Day 6 Serengeti
Drive to Serengeti National Park, via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your game drive starts after Naabi Gate, where you have lunch. Enjoy wildlife while you drive to your camp.
Day 7 Serengeti
Early morning game drive in the Serengeti. Hot lunch in the camp and time to relax. Another game drive in the afternoon.
Day 8 Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning drive to the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. In the early afternoon you start your ascend out of the Crater and drive to Karatu.
Day 9 Flight to Zanzibar
Transfer to Arusha Airport (2 hours). Flight to Zanzibar and transfer to the East Coast for your Beach Holiday!
Day 10-12 Zanzibar
Enjoy tour beach holiday on the tropical island Zanzibar.
Day 13 Transfer
Transfer Zanzibar Airport for your outbound flight.
