Nothing beats a safari in Southern Tanzania if you are looking for something really off the beaten track. The southern parks and reserves offer great game viewing in remote areas. Day 1 Arrival
Transfer from Dar es Salaam Airport to your hotel.
Day 2 Mikumi
Drive to Mikumi National Park for a game drive with packed lunch. Overnight in medium luxury lodge.
Day 3 Mikumi
Full day game drive in Mikumi with packed lunch. Overnight at the same lodge.
Day 4 Selous
Drive to Selous Game Reserve for a game drive with packed lunch. Arrive at your luxury tented camp at the end of the day.
Day 5 Selous
Morning game drive. After the hot lunch at your camp you have an afternoon boat safari on the Rufiji River. Overnight at the same luxury tented camp.
Day 6 Udzungwa
Enjoy a game drive in the morning, on your way to Udzungwa Mountains National Park. Afternoon walk in the park with a special guide. Overnight in a medium luxury lodge outside the park.
Day 7 Sanje Waterfalls
Day trip to the Sanje Waterfalls with a special guide. You can swim, rest and have a lunch at the waterfall before returning to your lodge.
Day 8 Ruaha
Drive to Ruaha National Park with packed lunch. You have an afternoon game drive on your way to your luxury tented camp.
Day 9 Ruaha
Early morning and afternoon game drive. Hot lunch and a rest in the camp in between. Overnight at the same luxury tented camp.
Day 10 Saadani
Game drive on your way to the Airstrip. Flight to Saadani National Park and transfer to your luxury tented camp at the Indian Ocean.
Day 11 Saadani
Morning game drive in Saadani. Hot lunch in the Camp and afternoon boat safari on the Wami River. Overnight at the same luxury tented camp.
Day 12 Dar es Salaam
Day room, hot lunch and transfer to the Airstrip, flight to Dar es Salaam.
