Lake Duluti: canoeing & hike
This beautiful small crater lake lies 10 km outside of Arusha town. The lake is covered with dense forest, where you can see a variety of birds, reptiles and monkeys, like the fish eagle, kingfisher and huge monitor lizards. From here you have great views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a 2,5 hours walk under the canopy of Lake Duluti forest, on the shores of the lake. After this walk you will have a hot lunch at Mountain Village Lodge. The day ends with an 1,5 hours canoeing experience on the crater lake.

You can also book a half day trip (9am-1pm) which includes a walk or a canoe trip. Price: $ 60,-

Lake Duluti: canoeing & horse riding
Enjoy a canoe safari on the scenic crater lake in the morning. You drive to Kili Golf Estate for a hot lunch and to relax a bit. In the afternoon you can do a horseback riding for about 2 hours on the beautiful estate, in the midst of the African bush. The trip ends with a transfer back to Arusha.

Mount Meru: waterfalls hike
Go on a one day walking tour at the Oldonyo Sapuk Village. This village lies 2,000 m above sea level and is located on the foothills of Mount Meru, some 7 km from Arusha town. This tour, which takes approximately 7 hours, starts from Arusha town and takes you through local villages where the residents grow crops such as coffee, banana, maize and vegetables. The village is inhabited by Waarusha people, who are related to Maasai. There are excellent viewpoints in the area with stunning views. Steep slopes take you to a beautiful waterfall in the Reserve Forest of Mount Meru where you can also have a swim and return to Arusha in the afternoon.

Arusha NP: game drive & canoeing/hike
The day trip starts with a transfer to Arusha National Park, where you can do a walking safari or a canoe safari. The rest of the day consists of a game drive in this national park which is known for its beautiful views of Mount Meru and Kilimanjaro, the beautiful Momela lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. You can see zebras, giraffe, monkeys, hyenas, buffaloes, Colobus Monkeys and a lot of birds. In the afternoon you return to Arusha.

Mount Meru: mountainbike tour
You will go on an exciting half-day ride in the outskirts of Arusha. This ride will go through some of the Mount Meru forests, into dry bush country and through interesting Arusha villages. This is a great experience to see people, wildlife and amazing scenery. The mountain bikes are all hard tail bikes in a very good condition. An experienced mountain biking guide leads the ride.

Coffee Tour
Spend a morning or afternoon becoming a coffee connoisseur. Starting at Kimemo’s Café where you will have an introduction about the personal history of coffee within this family. On the tour you will be guided through the many processes that takes the bean from the tree to the cup. On your return to Kimemo’s café you will see and smell the roasting and packaging where the aromas of coffee fill your senses. Now armed with greater knowledge, coffee will never be the same again. Just let those taste buds come alive! You can enjoy a hot lunch before or after the tour (except on Monday).

Golf (half day)
The 9 holes, 72 par golf course is spectacularly and conveniently situated near the centre of Arusha town. It supports 9 well-kept fairways and greens. The slightly hilly course looks like a very pleasant garden with plenty of majestic ancient trees. It provides for a relaxed walk with beautiful views of Mount Meru. So why not have some long drives and exciting putts during your stay in Arusha? Choose between a morning or early afternoon game at the local Gymkhana golf club.

Golf at a Championship Golf Course (full day)
Transfer in the morning to Kili Golf, about 30 km from Arusha Town for a caddy based golf day. The first nine tees off just beside the clubhouse with the very first green, bordering a lake surrounded by acacias. The second hole runs the length of one of the largest lakes on the property of which the various levels are separated by small waterfalls and cascades. The course then loops around the highest part of the site before returning to the club at the ninth, a beautiful and demanding par five, played along the stream on the left with an option to lay up for two or go for the green across the lake. The second nine runs round the lower part of the estate, with some dramatic natural water features along the furrow, expanding into long and strategically placed lakes at the 12th, 13th and 14th. The final hole, a real risk-versus-reward par five, requires a bold approach to a wonderful island green
