Sample itinerary: Zanzibar 7-days

 

Day 1   Arrival Zanzibar
Arrival Zanzibar Airport and transfer to your accommodation in Stone Town.

Day 2    Boat trip
Boat trip to Prison Island to see the giant land tortoises and to escape for some peace and quietness. Walk around the island for about 1 hour and have lunch before the boat trip back to Stone Town.

Day 3    Spice Farm
Visit one of the many spice farms of the island to learn more about how spices are produced, harvested and used. After lunch at the farm we drive you to your beach accommodation.

Day 4    Beach day
Relax at one of the many tropical white sandy beaches on the island.

Day 5    Snorkeling/ diving
Early morning one can go snorkeling or diving at Mnemba Island Atol to experience the beauty of the rich coral reefs of this area.

Day 6    Jozani Forest and sailing
Visit in the morning to Jozani Forest to see the rare Red Colobus Monkeys, Sykes Monkeys and over 50 species of butterflies in the last mature forest of the Island. Return for lunch at your beach accommodation and enjoy a special dhow (traditional sailing boat) trip during sunset with a cold drink.

Day 7   Zanzibar Airport
Transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your outbound flight
